The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Department of Human Sciences’ annual Homecoming Breakfast is set for Friday.
The yearly event, which features food and fellowship, will be held in Room 233 of the Adair-Greenhouse (Home Economics) Building. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m.
Annual membership dues are $25 and the cost of the meal is $10. Alumni who are planning to attend should RSVP by Tuesday.
“We would appreciate very much if our alumni would also notify other graduates and invite them to come along with them to join us for this annual breakfast to help us celebrate ‘Bridging the Past to the Future: UAPB in Transition,’ ‘Become a Part of the Pride,’ and Homecoming 2013,” said Janette Wheat, president of the AM&N/UAPB Human Sciences Alumni Association and interim chair of the Department of Human Sciences.
The department also hosts a graduation luncheon for its graduates bi-annually.
“We appreciate and would like to solicit your donations and gifts of any amount toward this cause,” she said.
Checks or money orders for the donations, the alumni breakfast and dues should be made payable to AM&N/UAPB Human Sciences Alumni Association and mailed to Janette Wheat at Department of Human Sciences, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, 1200 North University Drive, Mail Slot 4971, Pine Bluff, Ark., 71601.
