Tickets now on sale for Taco Salad Supper

Tickets are on sale now for the Taco Salad Supper, presented jointly by the Pine Bluff Orchestra Association and the Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra. The supper will be held from 4-7 p.m. March 6 in the Pine Bluff High School cafeteria.

The dinner includes a generous serving of taco salad, a drink and a dessert. Tickets are $10 and are available from any orchestra student, parent or teacher. They are also available from any member of the Symphony board or the Symphony Notables. Tickets may also be purchased through the Symphony office at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center located at 211 W. Third Ave. The number to call is 870-536-7666. Advance purchase of tickets is encouraged. There will be a limited number of tickets at the door.

Dine-in and take-out dinners will be served inside the cafeteria. In addition, there will be a drive-through line for picking up dinners. Guests who choose to dine in will be treated to colorful decorations and musical entertainment by four different student orchestras, including the PBSO Youth Orchestra. The PBHS Orchestra will present the Pink Panther/Pops Concert.

The Taco Salad Supper has been a project of the Pine Bluff Orchestra Association, a support group for Pine Bluff schools’ orchestra program, for many years. This year is the second time that it will be co-sponsored by the Pine Bluff Symphony. Proceeds will be divided equally between the two organizations.

Proceeds from the supper will be used in the school orchestra program to fund scholarships, awards and special activities for students. The funding received by Pine Bluff Symphony will help to underwrite youth programs, including student instrument loan, coaching, a workshop for students, the PBSO Youth Orchestra, and the Symphony’s annual children’s concert.
