Several members of Boy Scout Troop 100 recently assisted Andrew Cash on his Eagle Scout project.
They refurbished flower beds in front of Arkansas Convalescent Center on Hazel Street. They also removed the old mulch and replaced it with new mulch. Several old azaleas were removed and 18 new azalea bushes were set out, along with 10 boxwoods. Soaker hoses were also replaced.
Scouts assisting Andrew included his brother, Matthew Cash, Jacob Allen, Cody Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Dickson Windsor and Walter Windsor. Scout master Jay Cromwell and Steven Cash, Andrew’s father, helped to oversee their efforts. Despite the heat, the dedicated scouts finished their project.
