There will be a casting call from 1 to 5 p.m. April 5 at the Warren Cultural Center for several acting opportunities to be showcased in an upcoming full-length feature film about the War of 1812 and America’s earliest moves west.
The film is being produced by an Arkansas-based company and will be filmed almost entirely in south Arkansas. The producers highly encourage first-time or aspiring actors and actresses to audition. There will be a number of high-profile parts available in which the production team wishes to utilize local talent.
When attending the casting call, individuals should be prepared to read a few short lines of a script and answer a few questions. There will be only a few people at a time in the Cultural Center Auditorium watching the audition, and they will all be members of the production crew. Upon arrival at the Cultural Center, participants should sign in at the front desk in the lobby.
There are many parts that will be available and extras that will be needed. All genders, age groups, and ethnicities will be needed. Those interested in simply being an extra, should come by the Cultural Center on April 5 and fill out a contact form.
