PBHS Class of 1960 crowns king and queen at recent get-together


The Pine Bluff High School Class of 1960 met recently at the home of classmate Janice Helvie Tiner.

The meal for the evening was homemade chili and deer chili, hot dogs, cheese, onions and chips. The menu also included heart-shaped dried beef dip. Drinks included water and tomato juice cocktail.

Classmates who attended were Jerry and Ruby Wessels Poteet, Bill and Norma Ridgway Ray, Bob and Lenora Porter, O. B. McGraw, guest Ray Jones, the brother of classmate George Jones, Arlie and Barbara Rogers Langrell, Herman and Suzanne Ginger and Janice Helvie Tiner with guest Billie Cheek.

The group also crowned the class Valentine king and queen. Ruby Poteet was crowned queen and Herman Ginger was crowned king.

The next get-together will be at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Wright’s Ranch House BBQ on Dollarway Road. All classmates and friends are urged to come and enjoy the fun and fellowship.
