PB Chapter Links Inc. to present one-woman show


The Pine Bluff Chapter of Links Inc. will present a one-woman show featuring “The Resurrection of Harriet Tubman for Literacy” and “Meet Mrs. Rosa Parks” at 4 p.m. March 16 at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St.

The presentation will feature Melissa Waddy-Thibodeaux of Flying Geese Productions of Houston, Texas, and will include a portrayal two of the most phenomenal African American women in the country’s history.

Recognition will be given to women in the community who have made notable contributions in the chapters programmatic areas — The Arts, Services to Youth, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services and Health and Human Services.

This performance is free and open to the public.
