The Pine Bluff First Baptist Church February book review, “Sheep Ears”, will be presented by the author, Sherry Witt, at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church fellowship hall at 6501 S. Hazel St.
“Sheep Ears” is an inspirational book with touches of humor and much wisdom. Reading this book allows the reader the opportunity to learn of the Good Shepherd’s guidance throughout the author’s everyday occurrences and how she used her fine tuned “sheep ears”to help her meet those challenges, turning ordinary days into fulfillment. The 80 short down- to-earth poignant stories are crammed with examples of people both young and old, followed with insightful questions and potent scriptures, leaving the reader inspired and encouraged. “Sheep Ears” provides something for everyone in the household through this great collection of short stories about listening to the Good Shepherd and doing His will.
Witt is the daughter of Betty Phillips and the late Rev. Raymond Phillips. She has resided in Pine Bluff for the past 37 years. She attended Wayland Baptist College before marrying her high school sweetheart, Randy Witt. They are the parents of three sons — Aaron and wife, Laura; Nathan and wife, Sharon; Paul and wife, Michelle; and four grandchildren.
