The Jefferson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary recently held its 53rd annual meeting and installation of officers at the Jefferson Professional Center II.
JRMC President and Chief Executive Officer Walter Johnson welcomed the group and thanked auxiliary members for 12,659.45 hours of service in 2013. Following lunch and entertainment by the Diamond Line Dancers, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Brian Thomas installed the following slate of officers for 2014-2015:
• Barbara Goodwin, president
• David Hutcheson, president elect
• Shirley Jacob, recording secretary
• Bonnie Rauls, corresponding secretary
• Marnell Clement, treasurer
• Emma Williams, parliamentarian
Goodwin is also currently serving as the auxiliary’s Southeast Arkansas District chair.
Rauls, who has volunteered at JRMC since 1997, was named Auxilian of the Year. Special recognition was given to three auxilians who had the most volunteer hours last year — Alma Jean Tiner, 9,800; Roxine Carter, 8,700 hours; and Vickie Red, 7,100 hours.
