The Jefferson County 4-H program has scheduled an ornament workshop for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday. The workshop is designed for county youth ages 5-19 years old.
Participants will be able to select from a variety of ornament designs and will be supplied everything needed, including “recycled” materials, for ornament completion. All ornaments made during the workshop will be donated to the Jefferson County Judge’s Office to decorate the courthouse Christmas tree.
This activity is a continuing effort by the county 4-H program to provide hands-on activities for youth in the area of citizenship and expressive arts education and to inform the public of the many benefits of 4-H membership.
The workshop is free but pre-registration is required before noon Monday. To register, call 870-534-1033.
