The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum, 201 E. Fourth Ave., will offer an Arkansas History In-Service class to area teachers on Wednesday. There will be two sessions available, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
The sessions are free of charge, but participants must register by going to ESCworks. Space is limited. The morning session number is 221265. The afternoon session number is 221266.
The sessions will include an introduction to the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum and its offerings to area teachers, a brief guided tour of the exhibits, a video presentation from the Jimmy McKissic Exhibit, and a brief scavenger hunt of the museum. Handouts and discussion of using the Internet to research Arkansas history will also be included.
