Democrats to host first Jefferson/Jackson Dinner

The Jefferson County Democratic Central Committee and Jefferson County Democratic Women will host their first Jefferson/Jackson Dinner at 6 p.m. April 3 in the ballroom of the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

The keynote speaker for the evening will be Vince Insalaco, chairman of the Democratic Party of Arkansas.

Expected guests include Congressman Mike Ross, candidate for governor of Arkansas; John Burkhalter, candidate for lieutenant governor; Dustin McDaniel, current attorney general; Nate Steel, candidate for attorney general; Susan Inman, candidate for secretary of state; Regina Stewart Hamilton, candidate for state auditor; James Lee Witt, candidate for Congress from the 4th Congressional District; Karen Garcia, candidate for state treasurer; and John Robertson, candidate for land commissioner. Also attending will be local Democratic candidates and other interested parties from Southeast Arkansas.

A silent auction will be held and Legoria Peyton and Friends will provide musical entertainment. Admission is $50 per person or a reserved table for eight is $400. Reservations will be taken through Saturday.

Business attire is suggested for this event.
