Democratic Party of Arkansas chairman to speak at dinner

The chairman of the Democratic Party of Arkansas, Vince Insalaco, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Jefferson/Jackson Dinner to be held at 6 p.m. April 3 at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

Insalaco has been the chairman of the Democratic Party of Arkansas since September 2013. He has had a long career in Arkansas politics, having worked with or for Governor and then-President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and U.S. Sen. David Pryor, among others. Insalaco was deputy secretary of state under Paul Riviere, and served as the campaign manager for Jimmy Lou Fisher for governor, Mayor Patrick Henry Hays and Mayor Joe Smith in North Little Rock, and many others. He also has a deep passion for the arts, having co-founded the Argenta Community Theatre and produced the feature film “War Eagle, Arkansas,” among others. Insalaco currently lives in North Little Rock.

The event includes dinner, musical entertainment by Legoria Peyton and Friends, and a live auction, as well as a chance to meet and greet noted office holders and candidates, both state and local.
