Christian Women’s Connection luncheon to feature PB vocalist

Pine Bluff Christian Women’s Connection will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 17 at Pine Bluff Country Club.

Jennifer Lowrey of Pine Bluff will be the special feature vocalist and will be accompanied by her husband,

Jeremy. Recently she was a finalist in the 2014 “Oh, Say, Can You Sing?” in conjunction with Pops on the River in Little Rock. She has sung with various groups and the Gaslight Theater in Enid, Okla.

Lowrey studied voice in college, but earned her bachelor of arts degree with a dual concentration in history and Spanish from the College of William and Mary. She is in full-time ministry with Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree program. In addition to her music, she practices martial arts, teaches at her church’s outreach Bible study and is a member of the Pine Bluff-John McAlmont Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. She and her husband have been married for 26 years and are the parents of Madeleine and Brennan.

The featured speaker will be Keri Salee of Northwest Arkansas. Salee tells a fascinating story about her growing up years, receiving some shocking news in college and the development of her musical talents. She is a mother of two pre-school children. She has a fun-loving delivery style and an exciting presentation.

The cost of the meal, tax and gratuity is $13.50. To make reservations or cancellations, call Zelda Hoaglan at 870-550-5921 .
