16 — The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will sponsor a spring fundraiser and membership drive from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 6501 S. 16-31 — “Preserving Food Along the Railroad” exhibit is now on display at the Arkansas Railroad Museum, 1700 Port Road, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday through May 31. The exhibit features canning jars, cook booklets, posters, photos and more relating to Arkansas’ railroads. Details: Call 870-535-8819.
23-25 — Pilots from across America will fly in to Pine Bluff’s Grider Field as they celebrate Operation Skyhook. The event will include flying competitions, military displays, youth aviation challenge, free aircraft rides for the kids and much more. For more information, visit www.bpapilots.org.
24 — The city of Sherrill will host the third annual reunion and celebration at the fire station in downtown Sherrill from noon to 7 p.m. The event will include a vintage car show, a kiddie carnival with games, face painting, arts and crafts, a gospel fest, food vendors and entertainment for the entire family.
