ASC to offer ornament-making activity during Old Towne Christmas

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St., will have a booth set up during Old Towne Christmas from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

At the booth participants will have an opportunity to make Christmas ornaments that light up. This event is in place of ASC’s December Family Fun Day.

Attendee will also be treated to live musical entertainment, children’s activities, a balloon artist, magician, story time with Mrs. Claus, strolling historical characters from Pine Bluff’s past, and a visit with Santa.

The center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 1-4 p.m. Saturday, and is closed on Sunday. Support for ASC is provided in part by the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Hands-on science exhibits are offered through the center’s partnership with Arkansas Discovery Network, a consortium of seven museums in Arkansas funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation.
