Art League member to present program on jewelry-making


Pine Bluff Art League member, Marcia White, will present a program and demonstration on jewelry-making at the league’s meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 1 in the A/B Room of the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Building, 211 W. Third Ave.

White will show how she incorporates many areas of her art expertise in the creation of her jewelry.

Light refreshments will be provided and a short business meeting will follow the program. There will be a raffle on a Zentangle piece provided by a member of the art league as a part of the ongoing fundraising project for the year.

Sign-up sheets for upcoming workshops and a supply list will be available to anyone interested in the June 6 workshop by Gerry Delongchamp on the use of Sharpies in Zentangles, graphics and doodles. The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the League Studio. The cost is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

The Yarnell workshop has been rescheduled for June 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the A/B room. The class will be painting a Tuscan landscape in acrylics or oils. The cost is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.
