Arkansas Post Museum State Park at Gillett will be the setting for Fright Night, the museum’s annual Halloween event, from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday.
The party will begin with face-painting, carnival games with prizes, fortune telling, spell casting and lots of trick-or-treating candy. For those brave enough, the big haunted house will open at 7 p.m. as well. The Gillett Civic Group will have a concession stand during this time.
Admission to all activities is $2 for those ages 12 and over and $1 for those under 12.
Fright Night was started to give children a safe place to celebrate Halloween. The museum is helped every year by volunteers and donors. This event would not happen without the help of these individuals and organizations, according to an event spokesman.
