Stephanie D. Easterly and Michael T. Hayslip to exchange vows


Easterly-Hayslip: FORT WORTH, Texas — Wayne and Debbie Easterly of Pine Bluff announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie D. Easterly, to Michael T. Hayslip, son of Jack and Pam Hayslip of Porter, Texas.

Stephanie is the granddaughter of H.T. “Pete” Commer and the late Retha Ann H. Commer of Pine Bluff, Lois E. Easterly and the late Carroll D. Easterly of Sheridan, and the “adopted” granddaughter of Lillian R. Doss and the late Kenneth Doss of Pine Bluff. She is a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and Arkansas State University with a degree in radio/TV. She is currently a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and will graduate in December with a master of divinity degree. She is also currently working as a tutor for the Fort Worth School District.

Michael is the grandson of the late Sid Lowry and the late Ruby Lowry of Lubbock, Texas, and the late Jack Hayslip and the late Ruth Hayslip of Lubbock, Texas. He is a graduate of Kingwood High School and Texas Tech University with a degree in history. He is currently a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and will graduate in December 2015 with a masters of divinity degree. He is employed at the SWBTS A.W. Roberts library.

The couple will wed in a double-ring ceremony at 6 p.m. July 12 at Belltower Chapel in Fort Worth. The ceremony will be performed by Bro. Todd Howard of Pine Bluff.

A reception will follow the ceremony. Invitations have been sent.
