Monica Turchi and Allen Ross to exchange wedding vows


Turchi-Ross: Ms. Loretta Turchi and Mr. Greg Turchi, both of Pine Bluff are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Monica Lynn, to Mr. Allen Christopher Ross, son of the late Jimmy Ross of Crossett, Debbie Ross and William Harbison of Hamburg.

Miss Turchi is the granddaughter of Bill and Betty Quin of Pine Bluff and she is also the granddaughter of the late Janice Turchi and Louis Turchi of Pine Bluff.

Mr. Ross is the grandson of late Custer and Elizabeth Ross of Crossett, late Mary Taylor of Fountain Hill, Ark., the late James “Monk” Vail of Hamburg, Betty Mae and Ronald Anderson of Morrilton, Ark., and his GrannySan, Carolyn Ross of Lacey, Ark.

A 2009 graduate of Watson Chapel High School, Miss Turchi graduated from UAM in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She also graduated from cosmetology school March 2014 and is now employed at West Gaines Salon in Monticello.

Mr. Ross graduated in 2008 from Crossett High School and in 2014 at UAM with a BS in psychology and will pursue graduate school at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where he will be working as a campus minister at the college’s Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello, Ark., with a reception to follow at the Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship on campus at UAM.
