Deshaziers celebrate 50th golden anniversary

The children of James and Geraldine Deshazier happily announce the 50th Golden wedding anniversary of their parents on April 28, 2016. The couple will kick off their anniversary weekend with a Seafood Feast with their children and grandchildren and culminate their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration, with a Roast & Toast. ~Invitation Only~

Culbreaths to celebrate 55th wedding anniversary

J.C. and Dolores Culbreath are celebrating 55 years together! They were married March 4, 1961. They have been long-time residents of Pine Bluff where they raised their son, Harry Joe Culbreath. The couple has four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. J.C. began his career at the Railroad January 1974 and retired July 2001 as Union Pacific Diesel Division Supervisor. Dolores worked as Administrative Secretary for City of Pine Bluff Chief of Police for over two decades and retired January 2003. Their retired years have been spent traveling, camping and lots of fishing. Their life together has been lots of fun and Love has prevailed. Dolores and J.C. have always made Christmas and birthdays “The Best” going above and beyond with amazing homemade food. They are both dearly and eternally loved by their family and friends. Congratulations on your 55th Anniversary! Many best wishes and blessings as you continue walking life’s paths hand-in-hand and heart-in-heart.

Strouds celebrate 50th anniversary

John and Martha Stroud will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary at a reception hosted by their children at Greenlee Baptist Church on Sunday, January 17th from 2PM to 4PM. They were married on January 15, 1966, in Texarkana, Texas. They are the parents of 3 sons and have 6 grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to join us as we celebrate this special occasion. Millers celebrate 55 years on Christmas Day

Joe and Juanita Miller, pastors of Share-A-Prayer and Word Church in Pine Bluff celebrated 55 years of blissful marriage on Christmas Day. The couple made their first acquaintance in the classroom at Tucker Elementary School. What started as a fourth-grade, blackboard competition — boys on one side, girls the other — led to over five decades of working together on the same team.

McCoys celebrate 50th anniversary

James and Sherry Laminack celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 4, 2015. The Laminacks were married at Woodberry Baptist Church in Hampton, Arkansas on December 4, 1965. They currently reside in Greenwood, Arkansas. They celebrated their anniversary during a trip to Branson with their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. (Special to The Commercial)

Glenn and Betty Babby celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Babb Glenn and Betty Babb were married Aug. 18, 1963, in Camden. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a beach side dinner hosted by their children and grandchildren during a family gathering in Panama City Beach, Fla. They are the parents of LaNelle Mitchell of Sheridan and Jim Babb of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Their grandchildren are Lauren Mitchell and Logan Mitchell of Sheridan. Glenn and Betty are both retired from Pine Bluff School District.

Jim and Lynda Warren to celebrate 50 years of marriage

Warren Jim and Lynda Warren will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 29 with a reception from 2-4 p.m. at Hawley Memorial United Methodist Church. The couple was married June 29, 1963, in Batesville, Ark. They have three children — Suzan Rand and Amy Fisher, both of Benton, and Jim Warren of Sheridan. They also have four grandchildren. Family and friends are invited. The couple requests no gifts.
